AMA Apprenticeship and Traineeship Services is an Apprenticeship Network Provider in WA. We are currently working with Marleys Diesel & Ag in Wagin to source a 3rd or 4th year Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join their established team.

Marleys Diesel & Ag perform breakdowns and general repairs of any diesel engine, specialising in harvesters, trucks, tractors, road trains and Croplands Rogator spraying equipment. Working within a modern workshop you will have access to staff discounts on tooling and parts, super contributions paid on all hours worked and they offer an above award rate which will be discussed with suitable applicants. A company vehicle will be supplied for all field service duties.

To be considered you must be in the 3rd year of your apprenticeship training as a minimum, hold a drivers licence, hold or be willing to obtain police clearance and drug and alcohol test. Air-conditioning repair tickets will be highly regarded. Being a 3rd to 4th year mechanic you will be a proactive person who is willing to further their knowledge. Rogator training will be supplied as required however we require this person to be a clear communicator, who can work both independently and within a team. You will require your own tooling relevant to the industry.

Duties will include:
• Working within the yard/shed and also available for field service call outs when required
• Ability to complete timesheets, job cards, order requests and assist spare parts when required
• Willingness to work on a range of machines, equipment and trailers

Apprentices are hands on from day one. You will learn all aspects of becoming a qualified Heavy Duty mechanic through formal training and one-on-one coaching and support from the management team.
