AMA Apprenticeship and Traineeship Services is working with Maxipoint Cultivation Technologies Pty Ltd in Canning Vale to source a Metal Fabrication Apprentice.

Maxipoint are manufacturers of agricultural wear parts and aftermarket parts of seeding machinery. They use a wide range of fabrication methods and technology. Machines include MIG welders, specialist hardfacing welders, induction heaters, oxy brazing, bandsaw, cold saw, plasma cutter, press and a wide range of hand power tools. You will be required to work full time week 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday however they have a distinct busy season and quiet season so there is some potential for flexible hours.

This opportunity is open to someone who has a high degree of manual dexterity and aptitude for metal work along with a having completed a relevant certificate II pre-apprenticeship qualification. You should be a keen welder, physically able and a safe operator of tools and machinery.

You will require good hand skills, good communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and the ability to work in a physically demanding position whilst maintaining a high standard of work.
