Directions WA are looking for 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Carpentry & Joinery Apprentices for an Immediate Start. Don’t miss this great opportunity - Fly-in-Fly-out to Wickham Perth; 3 weeks on 1 week off.

The employer, a large construction company, requires apprentices to assist with an accommodation project for a large resource company based in Wickham. This project will run for approximately 3 months with possible ongoing work elsewhere.

About the role

This job entails demolition of existing aluminium composite cladding removal, fabrication of new panels, battening out of the walls to accept the installation of new cladding.

This will be a highly sought after apprenticeship and successful candidates must possess the following minimum requirements:

• Must have already commenced a Carpentry apprenticeship
• Have a can-do attitude, reliable and motivated to succeed
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or relevant right to work visa
• Construction White Card
• Working at Heights Card
• Completed year 10
• Strong safety awareness
• A Current Driver’s Licence

Candidates must be available through-out the recruitment process which will include:
• A resume and cover letter outlining why you would be suitable for the position
• Aptitude testing
• Initial interview
• Second interview
• Must pass an initial drug and alcohol testing, with regular random on-site testing
• Pre-employment medical
