AMA Apprenticeship and Traineeship Services is an Apprenticeship Network Provider in WA.

We are currently working with Gingin Early Learning Centre to source a Childcare Trainee. The centre is under new ownership and this exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee to complete a Certificate III in Children’s Services whilst working under a traineeship contract.

The successful applicant will undertake a range of tasks including:

• assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
• managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
• preparing and conducting activities for children
• entertaining children by reading and playing games
• supervising children in recreational activities
• supervising the daily routine of children
• supervising the hygiene of children

You will need:

• Great Communication skills
• The ability to work in a small team
• A positive, patient and friendly attitude
• A drivers licence and own transport
• To live locally to Gingin

The centre is open from 6.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, this is a part-time position working 15 hours per week with days to be determined upon commencement.
