AMA Apprenticeship and Traineeship Services are working with Pneumatic Engineering, they have an exciting opportunity for a Trades Assistant to join the business but with a view to developing into a Fitter (General) Apprentice after completion of a trial period. The position will be based at their Welshpool workshop and working fulltime Monday to Friday.

Pneumatic Engineering are recently under new ownership but were initially founded in 1978. They are a Western Australian-owned and operated company specialising in compressors, air filtration and blower equipment. They serve mainly the mining industry and local businesses but are making inroads into new sectors, including the oil and gas industry.

This position will initially be T/A role but for the right candidate will lead to an apprenticeship opportunity, you will gain exposure to mechanics, electrical, electronics and hydraulics throughout the duration of your apprenticeship training.

The successful applicant must
• Be mechanically minded and have a broad range of skills across hydraulics/ electrics
• Be enthusiastic and want to work
• Hold a current drivers licence (red or green P’s accepted) or be working towards obtaining
• Have a good work ethic and be highly motivated
