Transkool Refrigeration have a head office based in the Northern Suburbs of Perth, they offer a 24 hours 7 days per week priority mobile service operation incorporating the service, maintenance, repair and installation of a variety of Transport refrigeration and air conditioning units.

Opportunities have arisen for a Transport Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice at both their Wangara and Darwin locations. Do you want to be part of a busy and vibrant team, live in the local area and hold a manual driver’s licence?

Applicants who have previously worked in the industry and are keen to obtain a formal trade qualificaton or have completed an associated certificate II pre-apprenticeship qualification will be given priority. You will be required to demonstrate the ability to follow and understand instructions, have a good grasp of OH&S and be able to work under your own initiative.  Please note this is a physically demanding position, applicants will need to be able to lift and manouvre heavy equipment and parts.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will also need the following traits:

- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
- Able to obtain a police clearance
- Possess an interest in trades (Transport refrigeration and air-conditioning)
- Have an enthusiastic approach to completing your apprenticeship

Apprentices are hands on from day one. You will learn all aspects of the trade through formal training and one-on-one coaching and support from the management team.
